As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Small Groups are where we connect. They meet weekly to study the Bible, build community, and care for one another. Developing faith in Jesus happens in community.

Experience Rooted
If you've never been in a Brazos Pointe small group, we offer an experience called Rooted, an 11-week discipleship experience designed to connect people with God, the church, and their purpose. Rooted has proven to be a clear and effective way to connect people with the local church and strengthen personal relationships with God. Here is what people have to say about Rooted.

I don't know enough about God or the Bible to attend a small group. Is there a place for me?
You should feel comfortable in any of our small groups. We are excited when people who are new to faith or just discovering what faith is all about come to our services and our small groups. Small groups should be a place for authenticity and so we encourage you to come as you are.
What if my group isn't a good fit?
Conversation is better when we have different perspectives, but we understand that chemistry is important. We want to help you connect with the right group. We recommend attending a full quarter. It takes time to build relationships and community. If the group just isn’t right for you, we can assist in finding another group to try. We also understand there are busy seasons in life and we hope to help make those transitions as smooth as possible.
What about my children?
Who will watch them during small group?
Families are important at Brazos Pointe! It's equally important to us that families with small children are actively involved in our small group ministry. Most of the time, small groups coordinate with a trusted sitter(s) to watch all of their kids, but some parents choose to coordinate individually. We provide a subsidy to help cover some of this childcare cost.
