I planned to talk about The Pointe Church in Federal Way, WA this week, our 2022 WMO Special Project, and the 3 month BEYOND Campaign to follow. I’ll save that for this weekend when church planters Stephen & Jessica Searles join us in worship. I have to tell you about last weekend.

BPF was born April 15, 2001. Every year since then, mostly near our April Birthday, we have celebrated by paying forward our blessings through a World Missions Offering (WMO). Then we give it all away to three lead mission partners, plus a special project each year. The past two weeks this post has highlighted two of those three lead partners. Today’s spotlight is on the Reach Texas Initiative.

Through our World Missions Offering (WMO) we celebrate our birthday and all God has done for our church by paying forward our blessings. Each week leading up to our 21st Birthday this post will highlight one of mission the partners receiving a portion of our WMO.

The North American Mission Board – NAMB, promotes church planting, provides humanitarian assistance and trains and encourages pastors.

To reinforce our core value of Being Outward Focused someone in BPF’s early days came up with the idea of celebrating our birthday each year by collecting a World Missions Offering (WMO) and giving it all away to other Gospel focused partners. Last year that WMO surpassed $100,000 for the first time ever.

I’ve used a number of plans to read through the Bible. The plan I used in 2021 was by far the most helpful and easiest to keep on track. It’s called The Bible Recap. Three features make it so helpful.
